REPLACEMENT ULTRAROOF ORANGERY
All is not lost when your old orangery stops supplying sufficient thermal efficiency. The Ultraroof remedied that during this project.
This orangery had become something of an afterthought for its owners as the inside of the structure felt uncomfortable in hot and cold weather. Instead of losing hope, they decided to seek out a solution and came across it with the Ultraroof. We measured the existing roof before commencing with the exchanging of roofing systems and put the Ultraroof in place which as you will notice contains glazed panels alongside the lightweight tiles / slates. In the absence of natural light, spotlights are positioned and ready to illuminate the interior so that lounging, cooking and dining can go on at night.
Prior to the replacement roof being installed, new windows and doors were integrated into the current base and boast a classic Golden Oak finish. We also put French doors into an available aperture as the owners loved the idea of being able to quickly switch environments when the weather allows. We must speak more about the glazed sections in the Ultraroof though. They give the replacement roof a modern effect and complement the rest of the roof to a tee. Soon after completing our handiwork and leaving the house, a bottle of champagne was brought out to toast the orangery’s new lease of life.
