LANTERN ROOF ORANGERY
This householder was keen to pull out all the stops when they made the momentous decision to buy an orangery.
We think this might be one of the most spectacular orangeries we have designed yet! Safe to say the householder agrees as they are frequently inviting their female friends over for gatherings in the orangery. One of our biggest jobs was taking care of the roof and it’s a Lantern Roof that covers a vast distance of the structure. We were also instructed to include bi-folding doors. The family dog is similarly loving what we have done and joining in with the get-togethers that mostly take place at night as the LED lighting creates a unique atmosphere.
When you get opportunity to view the orangery through the windows or opening generated by the bi-folding doors you just want to get in there and enjoy it for yourself. Due to the slender aluminium frames, the bi-folding doors still provide a stunning view of the interior when closed, particularly as glass dominates their design. Opening them couldn’t be simpler – a small amount of force will suffice to make the entire set of door leafs fold and glide together. These bi-folds will be used almost as much as the orangery itself as it’s a place where you can lounge, dine, cook and drink to your heart’s content.
