History
70 years of history
TradeMark boasts impeccable local credentials. It developed from W.A. Green & Son, which from the 1930′s onward was Bracknell’s highly regarded iron monger and builders merchant, much missed since its closure in the early 1990′s. In 1992 John Green joined forces with Mark Ashwell and his wife Sue (John’s daughter) and with David O’Riordan. The first TradeMark factory opened in 1993.
Mark and Sue have incorporated the best values of her family’s business, at the same time adapting for the 21st Century. “We want to carry on with the best traditions of a local family-run business and that really means service, value for money and honesty with the customer” explains Mark.
David O’Riordan carries this ethos into the factory, where he oversees the manufacturing process. After many years of experience in the glazing industry, which included surveying, manufacture and installation, his expertise follows a number of years as manager of a joinery and carpentry business.
The concept TradeMark has employed certainly seems to find favour. Since the Bracknell showrooms and factory opened in 1993 their reputation and business has gone from strength to strength. The HQ in Wokingham contains showrooms and ‘DIY’ & trade counters. Annual turnover has passed £5 million and is still growing.
Hundreds of satisfied customers all point towards a company who pride themselves in providing a high quality product, good value and exceptional customer service.
TradeMark continue to offer the very best value, quality and service.
